Circle S farm fun

We went with a local homeschool group to the local farm. Unfortunately it had rained for about 24 hours before that so it was too soggy to do the cornfield maze and some other things. We did get to play in the hay barn (yes I know it's straw but they call it the hay barn) and pick out pumpkins and have a short hay (again with the straw?!) ride out to our cars.

Knit dress for me and modeled Mr Greenjeans

I've done a few woven wrap dresses that have worked out ok. But I've really been craving a comfy cute knit dress that was a bit sexy but still wearable :blush:

I made a first attempt in um August? probably even earlier. It was very eye opening and depressing and overwhelming. I finally worked up the courage to try the changes I needed to make. I narrowed the shoulders and did a full bust adjustment (though not very well). It took some creative pleating to make the dress actually go together on the bodice. I know what I have to change which is good.

The knit is a rayon from fabric.com pattern is Simplicity 3678 view A

From the latest knitty issue. Knit in knitpicks Merino Style in the coal colorway. This was a very fast very fun knit it took 2 1/2 weeks. I need to block it and find the perfect button.

Stash game Day 1

One of the forums I'm on is having a little challenge. The goal is to sew as much yardage from your stash as possible in 3 weeks. Here is what I got done yesterday

Skirt for Shiah will have yellow shirt to go with it when I have yellow in the serger :)

Bob Bliss

Bob the Builder has come to COSI. I can't even begin to tell you how excited Ollie has been. They send out the flyer about Bob in August so Ollie has been waiting 2 1/2 months for this.
